This home has a relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by woods and wildlife. Though, still easily accessible in the Galena Territory. You'll be sure to have a relaxing and wonderful time, in it's superbly decorated interior. Featuring farmhouse and country styles all it's own. The rolling hills of the area are beautiful in every season and the Galena area has lots to offer it visitors, golf, historical buildings, antiquing, fishing and boating on Lake Galena, canoeing and biking along the Galena River This home is a great place to get away with your family or a group of friends to enjoy all the Territory and Galena has to offer. We are close to four championship PGA ranked golf (3x18,1x9)courses and a spa where you can book a massage or a full day spa package. You will also be close to the Marina on Lake Galena where you can rent pontoons, canoes, fishing boats and paddle boats. Lake Galena, is one of Illinois’ top fishing lakes, featuring Small and Large Mouth Bass, Muskie and Walleye. Horseback riding is available at the Shenandoah Riding Center with many trail ride choices to entice any rider. You will also have the use of the Owners Club with a brand new recreation center boasting a outdoor pool, kiddie pool and the new indoor pool for rainy days. State of the art Fitness center and activity room with pool tables, ping pong, video arcade, outdoor tennis courts, and indoor basketball. Take in the beautiful scenery while hiking, biking or walking any of the numerous trails in the Territory. A short 10 mile drive to Galena offers many boutiques, unique shops, museums and restaurants to visit and dine at. Dubuque, IA is 25 miles away with the Mississippi River Aquarium, Eagle Point Park, Dog Track, Stone Cliff Winery, Star Brewery Museum, Casino’s, indoor water park, and much much more. It is our goal to ensure that you have a clean and tidy home when you arrive. We have enhanced our cleaning procedures in line with CDC guidelines as part of this. Here are just some of the steps we are taking to ensure you have a clean and healthy vacation home: - Washing and disinfection of all linens and towels regardless of use. - The use of new cleaned towels and linens for each stay. - Cleaning and disinfection of common household surfaces including: - Couches, Chairs, and other cloth surfaces - Counters and kitchen areas - Door knobs, railings, and handles, light switches, and other commonly touched objects. - Floors - Tubs and Showers We don't use a central office or keys with any of our stays ensuring you have a contact free vacation. We are here for you, give us a call. You'll need a car for getting around. This property has a maximum occupancy of ten guests. Please note occupancy is verified for this rental. The driveway at this property fits five cars maximum, please don't bring more than five cars. A pet fee applies to each pet staying for the duration of the stay, up to three pets allowed total.

Beautiful house
The house was great,loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom.. The only complaint is that there was some critter in between the walls and when we said something they said that they couldn't do anything about it, so the sleep was not good cause that's all you heard was the critter trying to get out!. Property was nice and quiet.

Nice home for a weekend getaway
Very comfortable home with screened in porch and fire pit. We loved that the home had 4 bedrooms and bathrooms for each bedroom. It was nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.

Beautiful property My family and I enjoyed our stayed in the house, it has everything you need The communication with the property manager was always good, he was always checking if we need anything. The only thing I wish the House could've have is a big yard or a flat green area. Other than that everything was perfect ☺️

Great family vacation get away.
This property was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable, clean , spacious and well supplied. We cook alot at our vacation rentals and this one was well stocked for our use! Loved the screened in porch with big trees and birds abound. With adult family members visiting us on the weekend it was great that they each had their own bedroom and bathroom. We will be back.

Awesome property
From check in to check out we enjoyed our time at your home. It was a wonderful time by all including our dogs. It was sparkling clean, good amount of dishes, pot and pans. Great retreat from disappointing weather
Disappointing weather during our visit forced us to spend much of our stay in Galena at the house. But we found lots to do at the house, which is spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Annual family getaway
Stayed at the house for a wonderful getaway family weekend. House was more than we expected. Extremely clean and it was wonderful to have a full bathroom in every bedroom. Easy distance into town and the territory is beautiful. House has everything - we grilled family dinners for both nights and played pool. Would definitely rent again if headed back to Galena!!!

Great getaway house
Spacious, well appointed, very clean, very well stocked. Nice layout, easy to relax. Nearby hiking in the woods. Plenty of room for 8 adults. We cooked in all meals, no issues at all. In past have gone to town to order out. Would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Beautiful house, will definitely stay here again
My husband, my family and I loved this house! It is very well done with plenty of space. We will definitely plan to stay here again. My only suggestion is that the water softener gets turned down a bit. Showering was very slimy. Also it did not seem like the towels or sheets had been washed in a while. They did not look dirty or anything they just seemed stale like they sat for a long time. Other than that everything was wonderful.

3 night family get-away
The house is great. Nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. It is FULLY stocked with everything you will need. From the back deck it is like being in the forest, in the front of the house there is a great yard and basketball hoop for the kids. The listing did not say it had a pack and play so we brought one, but it has everything, plus booster chairs for the little ones. The screened in porch is really great for having dinner when the weather is nice. All the furniture is nice and comfortable. We had a nice time with our family. Be prepared there is a LENGTHY contract to sign in addition to renting through VRBO. I've rented many places around the country thru VRBO and have never had to sign an additional agreement. This one is extensive and does not really pertain to a 3 night stay. Also had to provide my credit card information to the owner in case of damages. Have never had to do that before and was not keen on that. Communication with the owners was easy and we had quick responses. Overall is it a great house and was a wonderful stay. Thanks for sharing your home.

Fall Beds Trip
Great long weekend at a very comfortable property. Kitchen is well stocked. We appreciate the host providing firewood for the bonfire and fireplace. Our party of eight had plenty of room and we enjoyed the entertainment areas. The location was a good launching spot for day trips to Galena & Dubuque. For those looking for onsite recreational activities, the Owners’ Club has everything from Games, a fitness gym to basketball, swimming and tennis

This property lacked nothing. There were separate bathrooms for each of the bedrooms, the kitchen had every utensil you would need and not one but two large grills. Really though, the only suggestion I would have would be to add window coverings over the doors.and in the kitchen.
