"So unique from any hotel I have stayed out. Colonial building with only 10 rooms, right next to Fort wall. Staff lovely and friendly, included breakfast was great with fruit, juice, yoghurt and also hot with sausages, bacon etc. Can have delivered privately to your balcony or in courtyard. Easy access into Galle to walk around. Lots to explore and so much character. Great spot "

"Excellent/wonderful. Beautiful facility/setting and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast was the best I had in all of Sri Lanka. The dinner choices were wide ranging an excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "

"This is a generally excellent hotel. No more on that need be said. You won't be disappointed. Except that the breakfast tea is terrible. There is just one thing that we noticed on our last day. Breakfast is from 7am, our taxi was a 0730, a fairly typical departure time with either a flight or busy day scheduled. So, any hotel guest who is there right on 7am is likely to be on a short timescale. The hotel should recognise this, and the staff should be aware. It felt like nobody was really interested in offering any service until it was too late. No shortage of politeness and smiles! - just glacially slow service until someone got the message and barked a few orders."

"Beautiful setting, our villa in the trees was very nice with a downstairs plunge pool. The hotel is amidst thick jungle habitat with walkways between the residences. Service from the staff was second to none, Gayan, Sanjeewa and the chef were excellent and so friendly and professional. I was very disappointed that this hotel is advertised as having a gym and other leisure facilities but upon arrival were told we needed to either walk or drive the km to the Jetwing Lighthouse to use their facilities. It took the shine off our two nights at Kurulubedda, also this property does not have an alcohol licence so we were unable to even buy a beer to cool off after a hot day. "
