Are you ready to enjoy "Life on a Sandbar"? Then It's time to start your vacation ONE BLOCK from the beach, feeling the ocean breezes and hearing the waves? Our Coastal Beach Cottage was built in 1913 and is the perfect getaway for those seeking relaxation and the soothing sounds of the ocean. Nestled one block from the Beach, our charming retreat offers a perfect balance of rustic coastal style and modern comfort. Picture large windows that invite natural light to flood the space, with stunning views of the endless horizon. Inside, you will find soft, airy décor that reflects the natural surroundings, comfortable furniture, beachy-colored accents, and local art.
The open concept living area features a welcoming space for family gatherings. With a large Dining table for cozy evenings playing board games, working on puzzles, or relaxing on the Sofa and Loveseat to enjoy TV or a movie.
Whether it's unwinding with a good book or listening to the waves roll in and feeling the breeze, the environment is ideal for peace and tranquility.
The Outdoor space in the backyard includes a spacious Conversation area under a Pergola where you can sip your morning coffee or relax with a glass of Wine surrounded by Tropical landscaping. We have an Outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the Beach.
There is also a large porch at the front of our cottage where you can enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the sea breeze or enjoying sunsets with a glass of wine.
Our Coastal Beach Cottage is in the heart of Seawall Blvd and within easy walking distance to the beach (1 short block), which allows you to embrace the coastal lifestyle. More ocean views and thrilling rides await at the Pleasure Pier, which is a short 7/10ths of a mile walk. Restaurants within walking distance include The Spot, The Brick House, Gumbo Diner, Joe's Crab Shack and other Restaurants!
Our Coastal Beach Cottage blends the charm of coastal living with all the comforts of home, creating an inviting atmosphere where time seems to slow down. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat or a home to create lasting memories by The Gulf of Mexico, our Coastal Beach Cottage embodies the serenity and beauty of coastal Living.

Beautiful cottage close to the beach!
My family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! We enjoyed the morning walks on the beach to watch the sunrise and great conversation around the fire pit in the backyard! The house is perfect inside and the owners have thought of everything to make sure you have a great vacation! I would love to visit again.

Perfect place to stay near the beach!
We loved the property, including the back yard for our dog. Easy walk to the beach! The house has everything you could possibly need for your stay, including an ample stock of kitchenware and dog supplies. Beautifully decorated, plenty of resources for places to go, including dog-friendly restaurants. Ron and Carol are just the nicest folks you'd want to do business with - they even left us flowers and a card for our anniversary!

Beach House Getaway

Beautiful Beach Escape
This has been one of the best stays we've had. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. Every little detail has been considered. The amenities are fantastic. It's close to the beach, the Galveston pier, a community center, and a small convenient store. We will DEFINITELY stay here again when we're back in Galveston!

So Many Extras to Enjoy!
We loved all the extras the owners provided for us - coffee, snacks, games, toys, a high chair, and children's dishes, to name a few. We also appreciated that the house was within easy walking distance from the beach and restaurants. We had a great Galveston stay!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful- they answered my questions promptly before I even booked with them and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. It really is just as described. I read other reviews where guests stated that you could literally show up with your clothes and you would be set. That is the case- so many toiletries were provided that if you forgot something, it was almost certain to be there. So nice to have the Keurig and the coffee provided. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the backyard with the covered seating area and spent a lot of time there. If you love to cook, there is every kind of imaginable pot and tool that you could possibly need. Being able to walk just two blocks to the beach was amazing! My husband and I are already looking at our calendars to see when we can return. Thanks so much, Carol and Ron!
