Great location. We selected this site to be out of Galway City, but near, and for the views of Galway Bay. It was perfect. The pub was great to watch the rugby matches and for food/drink.

The lobby, bar and restaurants were quite nice, and the main portion of the hotel looked nice enough. But the room we were assigned was tiny, cramped, poorly appointed, and had to be accessed by what looked like a service elevator hidden off to the side of the lobby. The desk clerk made disparaging remarks about my having booked through Expedia.

Great location, easily walkable to the dining district in Salt Hill. And the hotel is directly across the street from "The Prom" which offers miles of sidewalk alongside Galway Bay.

We have stayed here many times in the past, and several aspects of the property continue to be excellent. All levels of human service, from the front desk to the restaurants and housekeeping, are excellent. The food in the bar is very good and the plates are generous - we ended up sharing meals because Free access to a very fine gym is also welcomed.

Staff were very friendly, food was great but the only complaint I have is where kids running around and kicking the bedroom doors especially my elderly parents bedroom door where they actually damaged the door plus it happened a few times. When we complained felt it wasn’t taken seriously. Plus a resident on our floor followed the 4 boys after kicking the doors and told front desk staff and they weren’t very worried about it or concerned. He felt they didn’t care. Another resident had kids and came running out to a few of the residents (including myself) in the hallway not happy this happened. Major problem going for need to have cameras on each floor.
