"The self check-in facility wasn't working and it took 30 minutes and phone conversations with 3 people before a very helpful lady was able to assist. Another guest spoke to us during that time to say he'd had trouble checking in 3 days earlier and had not had any wifi access at all for his stay. When we got into our room it was comfortable but finding long hairs hanging over the kitchen bench from the mezzanine floor above, 3 open sachets of coffee and sugar open in the bowl of sachets provided...

Two completely separate attached homes on the property with magnificent views, access to local hikes. 10 minutes from a small town (Sulz) with a good supermarket and bakery. Lots of cultural and mountain activities within a 30 - 60 minute ride. Sauna, hot tub and indoor pool are shared between the two homes. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and well-appointed. "Beautiful view. Water heater was great. We appreciated the communication in English. Well lighted bathrooms. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"Der Aufenthalt war einfach gut, die Wohnung wat super sauber und schön. Die Umgebung war ruhig, leider war die Lage nicht nicht ideal. Wir sind immer für Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto gefahren. Ausserdem, hatten wir erwartet dass wir ohne Gebühren den Privatstrand verwenden konnten, leider war das nicht der Fall, und zwar wird €10 p.p. gefragt. Nichtsdestotrotz, habe wir die Zeit in Gaissau genossen."

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"Lovely traditional log cabin in a beautiful, peaceful location. Nadia was super helpful in helping us find the property and checking us in. It had everything we needed for a few days peace in the beautiful hills. Super clean and welcoming. It is a little remote and 15 minute drive down the windy hill to get to the nearest shops so stock up before you go. We loved to get away and the house was perfect for this. "
