"We loved the little bungalow we stayed in for one night. We booked it because it was close to the Porto airport and perfect for a short stay. The bonus was how close to the Ocean it was and the great caliber of the restaurants on the shore. The only difficult part was check-in. The receptionist was surly and ignored us for 25 minutes, without acknowledgng us at the front desk, while she was on a phone call. Cute spot and very convenient."

Everything seemed upscale, and communication with the hotel was easy (make sure you contact them ahead of your arrival since there is no front desk). There are a ton of great restaurants nearby, and the waterfront is right out the front door. "

"The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "
