The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "
"The Hotel Ritz Leblon is ideally located in that neighborhood, with some great food alternatives (all walking distence). Leblon's beach is about 2-3 blocks away, sufficiently close, but not directly at the beach (with all the noise). If I return to Rio, I will definitely stay again. "

"This was my 10th time to visit Rio, and I took three friends who had never been to this amazing city. They loved the hotel - being able to look out onto Ipanema Beach was so important for all of them. The restaurant at Sol Ipanema is much better than almost any hotel restaurant at which I have dined. The staff were courteous and helpful. "

"I am basing this review on the price paid. We came during the week in wintertime.
Breakfast alone justified the stay.
24 hour corner store just a few steps away. Full grocery store a few more steps away. & then of course the beach a few more steps away.
Note:water in fridge is not complementary. I thought they were because there were just four small bottles of a no nane brand. "
