A perfect vacation awaits minutes outside of downtown Gardiner. Here, you can enjoy 100 feet of private waterfront with a private dock for your use. There is a public boat launch very close to the property to ensure your time on the water is made easy. Bring your boat or jet ski, or you can explore the Cobbosseecontee with the canoe and kayaks that are provided. Anglers will adore the stream's plentiful bounty of fish including bass, brook trout, and brown trout. The water is about 4-5 feet deep at the dock and there is a 16-foot deep channel just beyond the dock making the waterfront ideal for swimming, fishing, and boating. Relax on the expansive deck and enjoy the call of the loon and peaceful sounds of nature in this serene location. Gather by a fire in the Solo Stove smokeless firepit, grill dinner on the gas grill, or play yard games such as cornhole, ladders, and bocce ball- all of which are provided!

Inside, recent interior renovations keep your comfort in mind. From the moment you walk through the doors, you will immediately take notice of the living room's high ceilings, inviting color palette, and plush furnishings. Perfect for family movie nights, the living room boasts a large smart TV, an electric fireplace, and comfortable seating including a recliner couch. Steps from here, the well-appointed kitchen displays a full suite of stainless steel appliances, a large center island, and a sizable breakfast bar. When you aren't dining here, gather as a family around the formal dining table for a memorable meal. The spacious open floor plan makes it easy to mingle with friends and family. The home's sleeping quarters are lined with ample natural lighting and soft linens, ensuring everyone's comfort. A private washer/dryer is also available inside. Enjoy your time at home with board games and activity books, or you can work on a puzzle at the puzzle table.

With all the property has to offer you may never want to leave your oasis, but shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are close by if you choose to explore the area. Gardiner’s classic downtown is just 10 minutes away, Hallowell and August are 20 minutes from the house, and Portland is an easy 40-minute drive. Explore the local hiking trails, historical sites, restaurants, and breweries.

And finally, there is now a newly installed automatic generator system, ensuring no power outages will interrupt your stay!

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Partial air-conditioning will be available during the warmer months.
The dock is available for private guest use for swimming and docking a boat.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Security camera details: This home has 3 ring cameras outside of the home. None of them can see inside the property. The locations are:

1. Over the front door
2. Over the back door
3. On the side of the house facing the driveway/parking area

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
