Excellent location
Although the front of the property was not well kept, the location and home were perfect for our needs. Comfortable and extremely close to gate to Yellowstone and within walking distance of many places to eat and shop. I walk with a cane and it was accessible. They asked for shoes to be removed when entering the home but made an exception for my braces. The front porch was a delightful place to sit in the evenings and early mornings,

It is literally two minutes from the North Yellowstone entrance. You can walk to all the eating places right there as well. We had elk eating grass in our front yard.

Our stay
We rented this unit for our trip to Yellowstone. It is located right at the north gate, which was wonderful. However, this was not one of our favorite VRBO stays for the trip. Particularly because it wasn't clean. There were crumbs on the living room end table and floor, and the bathtub was dirty. Also, there were high weeds in the walkway and steps going up to the unit. The platform bed in the downstairs room had a very comfortable mattress, but it was hard to get around the right side of the bed without wacking your leg on the wood bed frame corner. The upstairs loft area was a bit weird but it would be OK for kids. My 73 year old mother-in-law had to watch her head and didn't find the bed comfortable. The unit is on a hill, so you will need to carry your luggage up stairs, maybe 15 or so steps. I don't think there were many options in this small town right outside Yellowstone which met our needs of at least 2 bedroom with baths, but next time I think we'd look harder for a better unit.

Owner Didn’t Care About Uncleanliness
The location of the property is great! However, the property was not cleaned. There was toothpaste residue left on the bathroom sink faucets, the jets in the tub were covered in black mold, the kitchen sink and stove had food residue, and all air units were caked in dust. The occupation license was also expired by 9 months. I contacted the owner about this once we arrived. They said they would contact me the next morning since it was late. I didn’t receive a call, text, or message at all. They obviously didn’t care that the property was not in good condition for guests or the fact that we were not happy about the condo of the property that we paid for.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
This property was perfect for us. It is steps away from the North entrance and is perfectly positioned in the city for a grocery store, restaurants and gift shops. After spending a day in YNP, we enjoyed coming back in the evening and making our own dinner, relaxing and get ready for the next day. The property was what I expected and more, we were extremely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone!

The property was just as it was listed and a great location to visit Yellowstone National Park, the Hot Spring and walk the town. Super easy to get to and nature is literally all around - very spacious house and has all the comforts of home. Definitely recommend!

Spring Break Vacation
We were looking for a nice VRBO near the North entrance to Yellowstone and it was perfect! The pictures match the property expectations. Our first night there we had an issue with the running hot water, messaged the host and within the next day it was resolved. They sent someone out to fix the fuse. We enjoyed plenty of hot water for the remainder of our stay. Overall, it was peaceful, elegant and fun! Thank you!

Family road trip
3 generation family road trip from IL- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfy cabin- well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay - walking distance to fun cafes & shops - everyone we met was very warm and welcoming - we saw elk napping on the football field & tried huckleberry ice cream for the first time - our itinerary changed due to the road closure (from the flooding June 2022) but it turned out to be a unique experience without the usual crowds and traffic - we had an amazing fly fishing trip with Cummings in Yellowstone (the guides have a special pass & are able to access areas that are closed to the public)- we enjoyed every minute

Perfect accommodations for our family traveling through! Fantastic location and comfortable for everyone. Took a little longer than we expected for the dryer to dry our clothes, other than that holding us up a bit, it was perfect!

Close Proximity to Yellowstone in cute town of Gardiner Montana
We had a great stay in this property. We were able to take multiple trips a day to the park and had access to some good restaurants and shops. This property was the right size for two grown couples to have their privacy but still enjoy time under one roof.

Convenient, convenient, convenient!!!
Located within blocks of the Yellowstone gate allowed easy access to those early morning wildlife viewing trips. After long days in the park, it was then close to several restaurants for dinner. It was clean and very comfortable. The owner is great and answers questions quickly. This is definitely a place I would recommend and go back to in the future.

Great stay and so close to Yellowstone!
We had a wonderful time at Yellowstone Lodge! It was incredibly clean and comfortable and the location cannot be beat. Despite earlier reviews mentioning no washcloths, there were washcloths provided during our stay therefore the owner clearly takes feedback into consideration. There was plenty of space for our party of 5 and we could have comfortably accommodated a few more guests. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the north entrance of Yellowstone in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and easy to access. It was smaller than the pictures would have you believe, but still worked for our group. As I read the other reviews, the only consistent complaint seems to be that there were no washcloths. Now I understand. There are no washcloths at all to use for bathing and washing your face. You are using just hand towels. You really need to purchase some face/washcloths for the bathrooms. Other than that, everything was just great. Thank you for our stay.

Great stay!
Perfect location for touring YNP! You are truly across the street from the gates. We were traveling with a large group with ages from 2 to 67 and it was perfect for all of us! Clean, well-appointed, and everything worked great! Extra bonus was walkability to restaurants and shops. Lots of wildlife viewing right in your backyard, and maybe even front yard as we had a pregnant elk come and hang out in the front yard one afternoon! Would highly recommend!
