"Charming cabin for a winter stay--but I bet it would be great in warm weather too when you can play in the creek! Lots of space to spread out. Our 11 year old was charmed to stay in a "real log cabin" and it was also his first experience with old fashioned radiators! Got pizza at Clementina's just a few minutes away & enjoyed it."

"The Culp House did not disappoint. We all felt very much at home and cozy. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed off season so it was too cold to sit outside, but great outdoor space for warmer months. Five minute walk to town square with restaurants and shops. If you plan to cook be prepared to bring some basics like spices, plastic wrap, etc. We highly recommend staying here. "

House was as advertised and had everything we needed - and nice little touches. 15 minute drive from Liberty Ski Resort. "My wife and I had to get to the hotel after midnight due to unforeseen circumstances and were pleased by how accommodating and delightful the staff was. The hotel is beautiful, was kept in immaculate condition and a very nice location next to shops and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was great and my only regret is that we were not able to spend more nights at the hotel to fully appreciate all it had to offer."

"I've never been to a "5 Star" hotel/ motel, but this motel has got to be right there with any other 5 Star. Bar was open. Bartender was the best & breakfast & waitress couldn't be better. Oh, except for one thing. If you've never had scrapple ( some sort of breakfast "meat"), pass on it. Gotta be one of those food's you have to grow up with. "
