"Great and modern hotel.
GOOD:
- amazing breakfast
- large rooms with balcony and mountain view
- lot's of parking / garage and front of hotel
- friendly stuff
BAD:
- if you like a coffee after breakfast the charges are extremely high (you get it from the same machine where you get your morning coffee for free)
- charges in general for drinks are very high
- they don't take American Express "
"Staff was very nice, rooms were clean, wonderful breakfast and wonderful view! Our room had a balcony, which was a great touch. Would definitely stay again! "
"The Staff at the Alphotel displayed an amazing degree of compassion as we faced a very tragic personal loss during our stay. They went beyond what was needed or expected to assist us in our time of crisis and were nothing but caring, kind and considerate as we dealt with our tragedy. "
"Beautiful place, comfortable accommodation and great service. The guest pass gives you free bus travel and that was really useful for us. We would definitely stay again"
"High price for low value, impossible to park your car, no staff in reception, rude staff, found food on the floor when we checked in, not good breakfast"

Hotel Zugspitze
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot close to train station. The front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast delicious and room clean, modern and comfortable. Great place to unwind after long flight"
"From checkin to checkout, every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. Loved our room - nice and large with a huge shower - and very recently renovated. Breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed one dinner at the hotel restaurant during our three night stay. The pool and spa areas were modern, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent hotel, I strongly recommend staying here."
"Lots of facilities we could have used but we were only there for 24 hours. Pool was fab, and a 10 min walk along to some shops and restaurants. Driveway was up a steep hill, but that gave us great views across to the ski jump too. Breakfast buffet was lovely and not too busy despite us going quite late in the serving times.
We had a family room which had two separate bedrooms and a dining area and 2 bathrooms"
"We enjoyed our stay and chose this property because it had a pool and was close to the Zugspitze. The breakfast was excellent- best we had during our 9 day trip. We stayed here for 4 days and stayed at 4 places total. The pool was so fun and although we didn’t use the sauna options there were several kinds of spa type choices.
I stayed with my daughter in a corner room with awesome views and the hotel accommodated my dad’s request to have an ‘adjoining’ room (via balcony) which was so great. No complaints about this hotel at all! English if needed was easy to switch to from German. Easy walking distance to a grocery store and several restaurants, away from the bustle of the downtown area although on the Main Street. Perfect stay!
Downsides: very tight parking lot but to be expected in Europe:) no air conditioning (we arrived during an unexpected hot spell), so we slept with the balcony door open at night (also to be expected- not many places have air conditioning in the mountains). No dark shades but that didn’t bother us.
Definitely would stay again! Thanks for a super stay. "
