"This place was perfect for us!! We were concerned with the location at first, the area is very lively, the train, aesthetics, but it was lovely. The people were very pleasant. The train wasn't so bad. We felt safe and loved the vibe there. It was very close to several fantastic beaches. The host were great and we didn't have any issues. "

"The house was nice and clean. Everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We just had one issue - the kitchen outlets were not working except for one by the sink but we were able to work around it. We’re not sure what happened because we couldn’t reset the GFCI. The last renter may have tripped the breaker but all in all, it was a great stay! Thank you, Eddi! Until our next Bible Study retreat!"

"This is our 2nd year to rent this lovely home. It is so spacious and enough room for our family. A well equiped kitchen, and plenty of seating for us to eat and play table games. Comfy beds. There are areas to sit and read or sit on the porch or do a puzzle. The piano is a plus. Lots of inside activitties, pool, pingpong, air hockey table for the kids if the weather is not favorable. An easy walk to the beach, great bike path nearby, frisbee golf, and hot tub. "

Vrbo offered a refund and a 1 day hotel stay which means we would have to figure the rest of the trip out .. host responded late in the night with a different property which was smaller and offered no partial refund or even a later check out… long story short id stay awake from this host. And Vrbo from that matter"

"This home is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants, and the Indiana Dunes National Park. The house was clean and met our needs perfectly. We ate breakfast there and then packed a lunch to take with us to the Dunes. We had 2 dogs with us and the backyard was plenty big for them to explore. Everyone had a great time! We loved the doggie decor."

"Listed as private home , once you get there and read the house rules it states shared refrigerator with owner. Owner comes in while you are gone and turns off all lights and the Ac, even goes into your locked room to turn off ac."

"I booked a last minute trip to Indiana Dunes and chose this place to be close to the water. My family had the best time. We went into the national park for a hike one day but preferred the beach by this house over anything else we did. We walked the 5-7 minutes each day to the beach. Clean, soft sand and clear water. My toddler had a blast at the beach and even better there was a playground on the way to and from the beach we stopped at each day. We also walked to the zoo which had a great...
