A huge shoutout to Vincent, the manager, and Esther in the restaurant. Both are incredibly warm and attentive. Vincent deserves special mention — he goes out of his way to ensure your stay is smooth. Every small issue or request is addressed with genuine care and speed. You feel like they truly want you to be happy and enjoy your time there. Yes, there are some stairs and steep walk, but it’s really manageable — and they’re always ready to help if needed. The food was great, and they even made our tea exactly the way we like it, which shows their attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, gorgeous views, and outstanding hospitality."

"We had an amazing stay at Ruhondo. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, particular mention to Jana 😊. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. We had a lovely walk/hike along the lakeside and up into the village together with a gaggle of local children - more and more joined us as we walked 😊. The location is very peaceful and I would thoroughly recommend "
