"We enjoyed our stay very much - everything we needed was in the property. The host, Jean-Claude was most welcoming and friendly. Most mornings we could get fresh croissants from the boulangerie in the village and there is a good local restaurant just 5 mins up the road. We especially appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer as the weather in October was not ideal for drying clothes."

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "A very simple cabin, clean and pleasant. We made the mistake of trying to find it in the dark and wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of other guests. "We came in late, and the hotel called to make sure we got there before 11 pm to get best service. The Best Western was modest but comfortable, including very comfortable beds! The breakfast was charming French style. The inn was situated next to a small river, so pretty, with ample parking across the street in a dirt lot.
