** Our Story **
Honey Hive Hideaway is more than a rental — it’s our family’s passion project. Over three years of remodeling during the Covid years, with the help of our 8 teenagers, we transformed this cottage into a warm, eco-conscious retreat.
90% of salvageable materials were recycled back into the remodel.
Locally sourced lumber was used for the handmade porch decking.
The cabin is energy-efficient while retaining a rustic, cottage feel.
The cheerful honeybee theme reflects both the bright yellow exterior and our family’s sense of togetherness. Guests often tell us it makes their stay memorable and welcoming.
