"Trip Motel Gatton was one of the nicest motels we’ve ever stayed in! The property and room was clean, well laid out, had modern fixtures and a good amount of space. The staff were very kind and helpful! We had an issue with our door not locking and called reception after hours, yet someone still came out to assist right away and then came back the following day to install a new lock. We were also extremely surprised at the restaurant and food options in Gatton! There’s a Coles only a few minutes down the road and some great food options! There’s a Visitor Information Centre, Transport Museum, Art Gallery and Library right across the road from the motel, as well as the lovely Apex Lake which offers a nice walk. We stayed in the Accessible room which was extremely spacious and clean, but the only thing that we were disappointed about is the super uncomfortable stools and poor water pressure. I have a dynamic disability, which means I can look fine one day (even if I’m not), and then need the use of a walking stick or wheelchair the next day, and because of this I need a chair that supports my body, and need to sit in the shower. The stools were very difficult to sit on and although the shower chair was fantastic, the poor water pressure caused my shower to be longer and more tiring. These things were minor in the long run and we managed to work around them, but honestly all in all the motel was fantastic and the staff were lovely! Thanks for the comfortable stay Trip Gatton! "
"We have stayed at Burke and Wills previously, the hotel is conveniently situated close to the shops and the Empire Theatre.
The guest facilities are exceptional and a pleasure to stay at the property and will be back.
