Located on the West shore of all-sports Manuka Lake, this freshly updated and fully equipped 3-bed, 2-bath home sits on half an acre of lakefront and is ready for activities year-round. Inside you will find oversized east-facing lakeview windows that provide gorgeous sunrise views and showcase the natural beauty of the lake and its wildlife. Starlink internet and smart TVs will keep you connected if you wish.

Enjoy the outdoors on the large deck, in the yard at the fire pit, or down on the beach. Lawn chairs, picnic tables, a grill, and some recreational equipment are provided. Enjoy quick access to public land and trail systems and just a 10-minute drive to downtown Gaylord.

For winter activities, the lake freezes well and is popular for ice fishing, ice skating, and snowmobiling. There are 100s of miles of readily accessible snowmobile trails in the area, both heading into Gaylord and out towards Waters and Mancelona. Multiple ski resorts are within a 40 mile radius, offering skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and various winter activities.

For summer activities, the house comes with a dock, paddle-board, 2 adult kayaks, (child kayaks available upon request), paddle boat, life jackets, beach towels, inflatable tubes, and three fishing poles. This is a great lake for fishing! There is a public boat launch about a quarter mile north of the house. The house is equipped with AC.

We offer a quick and easy check out process - no doing all the work of the cleaner!

Situated centrally on the lake, the cottage offers views and fabulous access to open water. Come explore the lake and all the activities northern Michigan has to offer, and stay for the comforts and conveniences of cottage life. Pets are welcome!

The lake cottage was very comfortable and private. We enjoyed the paddle boat and sandy beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat meals. The (host provided) family games and internet for the TV were nice on a rainy day. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Charity event weekend
We were in Gaylord for a charity event for Pink Ribbon Riders that my entire family volunteers for. The house worked out great for proximity and roomy-ness for my family of 5. Overall the stay was great and everything worked out well. Thank you.

a great 5 days at Lake Manuka
This home was a very nice for our family, 3 college kids and Mom and Dad. Lots of room and clean, the view was so relaxing. It was a good location for day trips to Mackinaw, Big Bear Dunes and Petoskey. The home was well stocked including the kitchen with some spices which is always helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay at this cute home.

Family vacation
My family and i had the best time at the lake rental. We fished, kayaked and paddle boating. Are dogs had the time of their life jumping and swimming in the lake, which by the way is very clean and clear with a sandy bottom. I would highly recommend and would love to go back again. Annual winter trip - excellent place!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our annual winter trip! We were able to bring our pups along and there was plenty of room for the adults and kids to relax and spend time together. The ice fishing was awesome as well! The boys caught crappie and bluegill ! Can’t wait for next year. The cabin is very clean and well stocked for the simple needs. Great location to town but private as well. Thank you for sharing such a great place !

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing
We stay as a family my husband and myself and 2 kids, 9 and 2 and my in laws, the home was even nicer in person then the listing as they have updated the flooring since the photos and they looking fantastic, our 9 year old loved to fish everyday , as he was able to catch mutiple fish right off the dock, the area was so quiet and yet close to town, the kayaks and paddle boat were my 2 yeats favorite thing to do was have us ride gim around the lake . There are plenty of sand toys for littles and my son played in the sand all day long , we also bought a small blow up pool and filled with lake water to keep him from continuing to run to the lake as it gets deep fast, we cant not wait to return here as this was one of our most favorite places we have ever stayed .

Manuka Lake paradise
We had a fantastic week at this lake house. It is a beautiful, quiet location with its own private beach area. The house is beautiful and has lots of room for sleeping and having two bathrooms was a plus! Everything you need is already supplied at the house, including laundry facilities. All you need to bring is your clothes and food. We relaxed on the deck, went kayaking, caught fish, listened to the loons, watched the sunrise and set, bicycled, took daily walks, had bonfires, and truly relaxed all week. The check in and check out process was very simple, and the owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We could not have asked for anything more to make our stay better. Highly recommend this property, and would love to return for another stay!
