"Honestly I was quite disappointed with the lack of overall upkeep on the home. Being a 100+ year old home isn’t much of an excuse to be poorly maintained. The roughest part of the stay was the overwhelming musty smell throughout the home as though it hadn’t been aired out all year. After the price of one night plus adding in the almost $450 in fees we were expecting a little more comfort and upkeep. "

"We enjoyed this open, bright and welcoming house very much. The house could use some attention to details. We let vacasa know about these on arrival and they responded that they would send maintenance people. The house should not be advertised as having a grill. It is unusable. Non of this affected our stay. We had a great stay in Gearhart. Thanks. "

"To clarify scoring: cleanliness was good, there was just a tiny snafu with a couple rooms. The host resolved it quickly and our trip wasn't affected whatsoever. Well appointed kitchen, great space to hang, play games and eat. Wonderful access to the beach for long walks. Beautiful art work! Look forward to staying there again."
