The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I found the bed uncomfortable and did not sleep well. "Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. It’s a little remote so walking back late at night made my partner feel a little uncomfortable, but having said that we didn’t encounter any problems. We found the hotel room a little chilly in the evening, and TV channels in English were very limited. We watched Netflix from our phone instead with free Wi-Fi. "We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant served gourmet food without having to leave the property. The bartender kindly gave us insight to the caliber of food served onsite and it made for a great anniversary celebratory dinner. The distance to Strasbourg Central was ~20 mins from Lingosheim (hotel location was ~10 min walk from the station). Used the CTS app and was 1,90€ single ride each way. Don’t use SNCF app while in Strasbourg, too expensive for single way compared to CTS (local transportation app for Strasbourg)."
