"L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. "

The views of the rolling Tuscan hills from the Olivo Restaurant and the spa pools are absolutely unparalleled – it’s a scene straight out of a dream. The tour of the facilities was informative, and we even had the opportunity to taste some of their finest wines in their beautiful underground cellar. Every glass was a testament to the quality and care they put into their production. Dinner at the property was equally impressive. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It was a highlight of our trip. During our stay, we also had the chance to explore the charming town nearby, where we enjoyed coffee, gelato, and pizza while soaking in the stunning views. The spa experience was a major highlight.
