"I have stayed at this Hotel on three previous occasions and loved it. This time we had to change rooms in the middle of our stay due to our mattresses being substandard/damaged. Hotel was flooded with cruise groups that were loud and somewhat obnoxious. All in all,not a great experience. Willing to give it one more chance next year!"

The person who checked us is in was friendly and provided us with a map and directions to the main haupstrasse district and attractions. The room was large and clean. "Nach fast 10 Jahren nochmals dort gewesen. Bis auf den geschlossenen Pool und anderem Besitzer alles wie früher. Super Preis-Leistungsverhätnis. Schöne funktionale Zimmer mit tollem Balkon. Frühstück war gut aber wenig Auswahl. Lag wohl an den wenigen Urlaubern. Eigentlich schade das in den letzten Jahren nicht mehr in dieses wunderschöne, geschichtliche Hotel investiert wurde. "Very good central location in Boppard at the river from near the central square and KD boat landing. There are two kinds of rooms with a balcony and a river view, I recommend getting the larger one, if available — it is worth the price difference. (Although the smaller ones are quite fine, too). The breakfast is ok - same as in other similar hotels, maybe a little less selection. Friendly and helpful staff (Don’t forget to make special arrangements if arriving after 9pm) "
