Fantastic countryside apartment only a few km from Frasassi caves
This apartment is located in a rural building only 8km from Genga and a short drive from the interesting town of Fabriano with it's museums, parks, shops and big supermarkets. Sassoferato, which has Roman remains, is also nearby- (check in advance with the tourist office for visiting. ) We visited the amazing Frasassi caves and also did a little walking in the surrounding countryside. The apartment had useful leaflets and books about the area and we would have visited the fortified villages around Arcevia if there had been time.
The apartment has been fully refurbished to an extremely high standard; it has kept it's character but is modern bright and very comfortable with a range of useful kitchen and bathroom appliances. Both indoor and outdoor areas have been well thought out for the needs of visitors. Our hosts Sabina and Michele were extremely helpful and welcoming. We could not have asked for anything more from either the apartment or our hosts. We only stayed 3 nights, but would have been happy there for a 2 week holiday.
