"This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here!"

"My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. "This property has been lovingly updated. Such a pleasant place to stay. The windows can be opened to let in fresh air. In the evenings we needed to turn on the heating system which worked well. There’s a tiny washing machine and a drying rack. The kitchen, living area, and the ONLY toilet are located downstairs. The two bedrooms, tub and sink, are located upstairs. "The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. Nothing beats this location as the rear of the hotel puts you right in the center of a pedestrian street lined on all sides with cafes and restaurants as well as the entry to the Chateau Amboise. Free street parking in the front of the hotel could not be more convenient. While the hotel interior could use some updating, our room was perfect. The staff out performed expectations. Access to surrounding Loire Valley points of interest made this a perfect base for exploration."

"The lady on reception that welcomed us was fantastic! The room was comfortable, warm and quiet! I travelled with my dog so it was great to be able to sleep without hearing banging doors and my dog being up and down all night.
