Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. "Everything and everyone were great at the Hôtel Emeraude. We were welcomed warmly, told where the room was which was bright and spacious and had air-con which was a bonus as it was a hot day. We were advised on where to park, breakfast and dining options. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and there is a lovely view on the lake from the terrace where we had dinner. I wouldhappily stay there again."

The owner was so welcoming, our room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was served in a nice room and the restaurant experience was superb - we had a delicious dinner outside on the terrace.
