"Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. "We stayed here between Christmas and NY and despite the rainy weather had a lovely time. The house is comfortable and kitted out with everything you need. It's a quirky place and we enjoyed playing a bit of pool, the video games and the kids loved exploring the large garden with our dog. It's a great base to go walking from or head back into Warburton (only a short drive)."

"Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. "The location is absolutely idyllic, the cottage was well maintained. I'd have no hesitation recommending Langbrook if you like quiet and seclusion in a natural setting. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the native birds and other fauna from the patio, particularly one juvenile magpie who camped outside our door to watch for us, then skittered away when we came outside, but not far enough that he couldn't keep an eye on us!
