The Executive Prospector / Bighorn Crossing

Summary:
The Executive Prospector features a gorgeous space in an unbeatable lakefront location. Take advantage of browsing the elegant boutiques or perhaps take a walking tour of the historic town. Ride the rails as the Georgetown Loop Railroad offers themed steam locomotive tours throughout the year. Centrally located just off of Interstate 70, you can catch an event in Denver or hit the slopes at Keystone in less than 45 minutes, and the Loveland Ski Area is only 20 minutes from your front door!

The Space:
The Executive Prospector is a two-bedroom, two and a half bath property located in the new Bighorn Crossing community in Georgetown. At an elevation of 8,530 feet, the magic and wonder of colorful Colorado are literally right outside your front door. You can go fishing in Georgetown Lake, enjoy birdwatching, hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, mine tours, breweries, and fine dining. Outside of Georgetown, you are only 20 minutes away from the Loveland Ski Area, and 50 minutes from LoDo in Denver.
The wild and free passion of the Colorado Rocky Mountains certainly carries into the great room of The Executive Prospector. A bright, happy color palate invites you to linger and lounge in the super-comfy seating area. You can enjoy lively conversations or watch something on the television. Or both. Additionally, there is seating for two at the breakfast bar.
The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, copious counter space, and tons of cabinet storage. A double sink, coffee maker, and toaster round out the tools you have to create your delectable delights, while a closet and pantry take care of your downstairs storage needs. There is a half bathroom attached to the kitchen.
Upstairs, the beautifully furnished master bedroom offers comfort and style. Large windows let the sunshine pour in, and a ceiling fan will make sure to keep you comfortable. The king bed is both snazzy and restful. Additional lighting on the nightstands will let you catch up on nighttime reading, while the dressing chair and ottoman allows you an additional space to chill out. The attached master bathroom features his and her sinks and a beautiful tile floor. The glass shower makes the room feel extra spacious.
The second bedroom is also on the second floor. It has a very fashionable and extremely comfortable queen bed, hanging lamp over the nightstands, ceiling fan, and mountain views from the windows. Across the hallway is a full bathroom with a bath/shower combination. As with the other bathroom, this delicately furnished room has been professionally designed and crafted with your comfort in mind.
For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer stack in the hallway.

The property was very clean and spacious. The back of the property was a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. What we didn’t like was the construction outside the front. No sleeping in during the week. The only tv is in the living room which has a blown speaker so it sounded distorted. We were 4 adults and there was not enough room for 4 people to lounge comfortably in the living room. Garbage disposal stunk - ceiling fan and light in the master bedroom came on randomly. You could not lower the fan speed or turn the light off. Had to completely shut it off. TVs in the bedrooms would be nice.

Great Location!!
We love Georgetown & the lake so this townhouse was the perfect location for us! The layout was great & the beds very comfy. The addition of the brewery since last time we were in town was great! There was construction right by the townhouse, but that didn't really bother us.

Georgetown vacation
A lot of construction nearby and power was turned off for a day. A lot of noise from the highway but it wasn’t unbearable . We had to call for access upon arrival. I can’t find where it was previously provided. Once the construction is complete I am sure it will be a wonderful property to stay at.

Beautiful location but construction is very unpleasant
Overall management company was easy to work with and lake is breathtaking . Few pointers : 1 . We stayed in a corner unit and construction site with VERY loud noises , dust and machinery started at 7:15 am . No AC means we have to open windows and bedroom windows face the construction site for new hotel that is 10 ft away from Window . Impossible to sleep in 2. Back door faces amazing lake and no construction luckily but this just a slab of concrete . No chair no table . Would have been amazing to be able to drink coffee in am or eat lunch on back porch . Even small camping chairs would be helpful . Otherwise our stay was good

The property is a beautiful, modern, well appointed and comfortable apartment on two levels, with two large bedrooms upstairs, a large ensuite bathroom and another smaller bathroom. There was also a laundry cupboard/closet with washer and dryer. Downstairs is a comfortable living area, spacious, well-appointed kitchen, and a large walk-in pantry and another small bathroom. The connected garage was also very convenient and much appreciated. The only downside is that carpets have many unsightly stains and the floors downstairs were very dirty. After walking around the house in socks, the soles of our feet quickly became a dirty brown color. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying in the apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it to future visitors to Georgetown.

Senior Trip
We loved our cozy townhome in Georgetown! It was in a great location, with beautiful scenery and so close to Georgetown. Georgetown is a cute little town, has great restaurants. This is a great place to stay, as you can conveniently drive to several CO towns or just enjoy the beautiful scenery from the home, cozied up. We had great communication with our host and highly recommend this property to anyone.

Great Location in the Mountains
Many more positives than negatives. Great location in the mountains, lots of natural light, exceptionally comfortable beds, 2.5 nice bathrooms, high ceilings, garage parking for our car, and lots of storage room for our gear for outdoor activities. The main negative for our group of four adults (two couples) was the lack of living room space and no table. The living room is quite a bit smaller than it appears in the picture and the only place to eat was two stools at the kitchen counter just in front of the sink. The other negative was the couch and the carpet/rugs were stained and dirty. Everything else was clean (counters, sinks, showers, and toilets). The management company communicated well and the arrival departure was smooth and easy.

Nice Place to Stay for a Small Family
While the area is a construction zone, the house is comfortable and accommodating for a small family. It’s convenient to get in and out of, and it is super easy to get to from I70.

Short but sweet stay!
The accommodations were perfect for my 85-year old parents, my husband and myself. The condo was furnished nicely and all lights and appliances worked. This was an ideal location to explore Colorado. The only suggestion would be to have some chairs on the back patio. Backing up to the lake was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, but we had no where to sit to enjoy our coffee!

This is the most amazing place
My sister and I spent two nights at this lovely condo. Everything was very clean, just a few spots on the carpeting from previous guests. There is construction going on, around the buildings, but no work was being done while we were there. And there is a window in the downstairs bathroom that is covered with plywood. Figured it was a supply issue and it didn't interfere with our stay at all. The view of the lake behind the condo is incredible. It would have been nice to have some chairs to sit on back there. But again we didn't mind and just sat on the door step. It's a great unit, very quiet. We love Georgetown and hope to come back soon. The beds were very comfortable. A little high on the cleaning fee, higher than most places I have had to pay on VRBO.

Nice getaway in the mountains
Townhouse worked well for our ski trip. Would also be good for summer activities in the area. Comfortable beds with thermostats in each room. On demand water heater is good for groups at the end of the day. Well equipped kitchen. Nice little town, and other towns with bigger stores within 20 min.

Very clean with great views
The property is great with the best views Georgetown has to offer. Very clean and check in and out was easy as can be. My only gripes are they need TV’s in every room. When you’re there during ski season people are back by 5 then want to relax (sometimes away from the other people in their group) and when there’s only one TV things can get tense.lol The internet speed is also an issue. Not sure if it’s the provider or the the mountains, but it was slow going for sure. And the couch had a huge stain on it, not sure from what. The beds were really comfortable though and I’d stay there again. I do hope they address these issue to attain a 5 star rating. Also because of apparent break in attempts the back foot and windows were boarded up. It’s new construction so I’m sure they’re working out some kinks.
