Great location to visit spectacular beaches and very responsive owner and property manager. The property has one single AC unit in the kitchen. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "Just feel obligated to describe, so nobody could be fooled in future. I stayed only one night. There was construction/ renovation around the area, banging during the day and the traffic noise at night was unbearable, Apartment was very old and dark, nothing updated. Few rooms, but all was dirty, no air conditioning , apartment is totally unfit for living. No hot water either! The whole experience was horrible! I had to find another place and move!"

"The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"Wir haben im Oktober einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, was aufgrund der Lage in 270 m Höhe gut war. Anlage war sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Insgesamt sind ca 15 Zimmer/Wohnungen da, ein schöner Pool, der bei voller Anlage für alle ausreicht, wenn man auch an den Strand geht. Der ist allerdings nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen oder man ist gut zu Fuß. Parkplätze am Strand im August wahrscheinlich schwierig. Die Tiere sind nicht zum Streicheln! Pferd...

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
