"While booking a place for a night close to the highway, I failed to notice there’s no reception. You’re supposed to send an ID copy in advance and get a key code. I noticed this only at the door and had to look for a number to call. The guy was helpful though and just recited the code on the phone.
The pros of this place are low price (€55 for a single bed) and location at the gate of a quaint little castle town. While there’s no restaurant, there is a decent pizzeria on the shore less than 1km...
"I loved the quaintness of the property while my children loved the loft area of our room. It was well lit with lots of light. And the people, although they didn’t speak English, they were super sweet and welcoming. "
"Hotel is fantastic. Could absolutely see myself staying there in the future due to the saunas and pool area.
Did not try the restaurant, so can’t rate it here in this review. "
"Great hotel in a great location. Unfortunately for us and no fault of the hotel, the road outside was closed to transport as they were digging it up with very loud machinery. This meant we couldn’t park at the hotel as previously booked and became quite stressful trying to find a public parking garage.
The hotel’s location was perfect and everything we wanted to see was in walking distance.
My only negative experience is the pillows, huge bags of air that no matter how many times you tried...
"All in all it was ok. For the price I expected a little bit more . Was quite noisy and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Probably time to change the mattresses. Breakfast was great and staff was friendly. Was the weekend so quite a few groups of questionable men loitering in front of the property. Parking was good. "
"The hotel had no onset except housekeeping. For a none German reading person this was challenging. I was not informed of this situation. Room was small but adequate!"

"I liked the updated rooms. Breakfast was good. It was easy and convenient to take the bus downtown Würzburg. I had to go to the Uniklinik which was a quick walk. The people working were all outstanding and super friendly! Great trip "

"First time in Germany, or Europe ever. Blindly booked this Hotel, and was amazed at the property and all of the staff. Not knowing how to speak German, the staff was eager to take time out for me to help me navigate the city of Schweinfurt. First time in Germany and I was made to feel safe and at home! My daily breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and unbelievably prepared! Amazing chefs and restaurant staff. Most notably was “Matthew”! Very friendly and informative. Knowing that I was there alone, and unfortunately with Schweinfurt and/or Germany spent every available moment with directions sights to visit. He kept my safety in mind with trains, taxis and whenever I was going on foot. Normally I’m difficult to completely please, but I couldn’t find anything negative to comment. I certainly hope the management there values “Matthew” as much as the guests there do! "

"A tall modern hotel near the train station - it is one stop more or less on a tram from the train station, and close enough to walk unless you have oppressive amounts of baggage.
Nice breakfast, but not much in the way of dining around that I saw. There was a Lidl across the street where you can get inexpensive food to eat in your room.
Downtown Wuerzburg is a few stops away on the tram to the Juliuspromenade stop. The 4 stop ticket for 1.50 euros will cover that. "

"A very nice hotel located only a few minutes walk from the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and definitely worth buying or adding on as an option when you book. Parking was easy and spacious. The hotel was very clean (apart from the shower head that had a lot of mineral build up which I cleaned off myself to improve the water pressure in the shower). Located right across the road from a school but we didn't experience any noise problems at all. It's centrally located in a safe area and withing easy walking distance to the main town square. Would we stay here again? Most definitely yes! A very nice hotel providing every amenity we needed."

"Hotel was conveniently located close to the train station and city centre. Hotel room was very elegant with a comfortable bed, big TV and nice city view from the window. Breakfast was pricey at 18 Euros but very good. Nice staff, I wish we had stayed a bit longer."
