The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!) The villa had many wonderful features including balcony with views of Hesselberg...

"Wir hatten sehr gemütliche 3 Tage in dem Apartment. Frau Bittel hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und mit allen nötigen Informationen, sowie leckerem Kuchen versorgt. Sie stand auch immer für weitere Fragen sofort zur Verfügung. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und mit Allem ausgestattet, was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Es war sehr gemütlich und sauber, hat einen separaten Eingang und im Sommer steht ein Teil der Terasse zur Verfügung. Fussläufig sind ein Bäcker und eine Pizzeria zu...

The host is very pleasant and speaks English and German fluently. Each floor comes equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and two of the floors have a balcony that allows you sit outside in the pleasant weather.."

"Gute Kommunikation, ruhig gelegen, von der Vogelinsel bis zum Supermarkt alles fußläufig erreichbar. Schöne Wohnung mit überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestatter Küche und hübschem Garten. Nachbars Hahn ist recht pflichtbewusst, und bei falscher Windrichtung ist nicht zu leugnen, dass die eigentlich gar nicht so nahe Bahnstrecke und parallele Bundesstraße eher inkonsequent mit Lärmschutzwänden abgeschirmt wurden. Aber nach komplett durchwanderten Tagen konnte uns beides nur kurz vom Schlafen...

"This hotel is in a small, quiet village well off the beaten path, which is just what we wanted. But we arrived after dark and there was nobody at the reception desk. We tried to call the number, but our cell phones did not work properly. Outside the door, some people were smoking and somehow understood we could not check in. They were so friendly and helpful! They explained that there is a restaurant behind the hotel, and they would go find somebody. A young lady came and checked us in. Then we ran into Bruno, the proprietor. He showed us to our room and explained to us about using the blind to keep out the friendly local cat, while letting in the cooler air with the window. In a small village every place closes early, so we were concerned where we might get dinner. Bruno had the answer! He also owned the restaurant behind the hotel. He took us over there and cooked up some of the very best bratwurst, which was made by his son. This place has been in the family for five generations and they take great pride in it. The patrons of the restaurant were friendly as well. The room was modern and very clean. We wandered around the streets a bit by the church and a fountain. We could hear cows in the distance. Very pleasant experience!"
