Walkable to conference
Had a nice stay here. I like the fact it was 4 blocks away from the con I was attending this past weekend. I was easily able to get there in 10 minutes or less. I did shopping, visited seminary ridge museum and Gettysburg np, went to local church, and did 2 walking tours (ghost one of course and day tour telling me about town). I fit a lot in my short stay. This place was an oasis for my packed agenda. It was a place to have a snack between activities and enjoy the Victorian charm.

Very nice B&B right in town
Two-night stay at "A Sentimental Journey" bed & breakfast. Liked that it was within walking distance of many attractions in Gettysburg. Owner, Barbara, not always on site but always available if needed and also owns small ice cream shoppe next door. She was very helpful, offering town maps and brochures and presenting us with coupons for free ice cream.

A wonderful solo adventure.
Very comfortable and well located inn. Barbara is lovely and very accommodating. Don't hesitate to stay here. She has the kitchen stocked with everything that one could need-junk food, fruits, juices, milk, english muffins, cereal, etc. Good for breakfast or a snack at night. Plus she give you two passes for free ice cream at her ice cream shop next door. The ice cream is really, really good too. She offers gelato and italian ice too. The porch is comfortable and the bed was too. I highly recommend you visit this place.

Absolutely a great place to stay for a visit to such a historic site. Location couldn't be better, the building was very nice and the people running the b&b were absolutely the best! I would recommend this b&b to anyone.

Great bed and breakfast close to everything!
Bed and breakfast is run by a very nice couple who own the shop and ice cream store next door. They are very helpful and kind. Rooms were very nice and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and open 24 hours per day. The house is conveniently located in close walking distance to everything Gettysburg has to offer. We will stay here again next time!

Great location. Lovely rooms. Friendly owners.
We stayed a weekend in February with the intention of going to ski Liberty. The weather was unexpectedly warm so we chose to see the sites. I am glad we experienced the history of Gettysburg.

Perfect Location and Comfort
This is our second time to stay at the Inn. We really enjoy our stays so close to town and Gettysburg College. We can walk to many places and it is close to great restaurants. Just what we wanted in a small B&B.

nice B&B close to everything with walking distance
The room had many antiques and the main lobby was beautiful. The Breakfast was continental, but there was every type of selections. There were bagels, cereal, pastry, muffins, etc. The owners were wonderful hosts. It was nice to meet the other guests. I will stay there again. A lot of the attractions and other things to do were within walking distance. The free parking was a plus.

Nostalgia on Main Street
Loved the collections throughout the house. Like stepping back in time. If you're looking for comfort and cleaniness this place has it. Plenty of breakfast options as well as snacks in the 50's style kitchen. Great location in town and very close to battlefield of Gettysburg. Would definitely return.

Wonderful place and location can't be beat.
We really had no negative issues to address to the owners, who were so very welcoming and pleasant. The room called string of pearls, was cozy and decorated in very interesting WWII paraphernalia. It has a character all its own, and is free from the typical "sterile" cookie cutter hotel vibe, that house so many on their trips around the country. Staying at this place never let's you forget WHERE you are. It's as if you've become part of the town, which is a very cool thing. We had a great time here, plotting and planning our Gettysburg adventures, resting comfortably and enjoying the many generous amenities that were offered by our hosts. Thanks again for being part of our memories.

Not there yet.
We did not get to stay--I was in the emergency room on Oct 10, had a temporary pacemaker put in on Saturday Oct 11 and the permanent pacemaker in on Monday Oct 13. My husband kept trying to cancel our reservation which was supposed to begin on Oct 12 through hotels .com--he is not a computer guru. The B & B did credit us for 2 days off the bill. The problem is with hotels.com--will never use them again to book anything. Was hoping the B & B would give us vouchers for next year---would still like to get to Gettysburg in the fall colors. So I guess I will give them a call. Looked like a wonderful place, right in the heart of town.

B & B VERY close to downtown attractions.
We were downtown and not too far away from uptown to walk. The B & B was very nice. I loved our room. The breakfast was continental style. The excellent thing about this was the kitchen and the food was open and available 24/7. Afternoon snacks were wonderful thing sometimes.
