Historic Civil War house, great for family getaways.

This charming Civil War era house first floor apartment is located in historic downtown Gettysburg. The apartment has been restored, with two bedrooms (queen beds), so the house can sleep 4 .The bathroom has a tub with shower. In addition there is a fully fitted kitchen, dining room, reading room, and parlor. There is central a/c throughout. At the rear of the house is a secluded garden and parking.
The apartment is ideal for 4 people You can walk to most of the shops and restaurants. The National Military Park (Battlefield) is two minutes walk away. Paranormal investigators might enjoy their experience here as well!

Historic place and great location

This place was in a great location. Could walk to most places in town that we wanted to. Very spacious for my family of 4. The pics don't do it justice as far as the space. Loves the hardwood floors and built in cabinets. It was very clean also.

We had a great stay in this beautiful Civil War house. A perfect location and short walk for just about everything, whether it's in town or on the battlefield. Everything about this house was exceptional! The house was immaculate, kudos to the housekeeper! The location was great, could easily walk to the shops and restaurants. Loved sitting on the back deck and relaxing both in the morning before a hectic day and again in the evening . Will definately stay there again!

This house is very clean and the location in proximity to shopping, eateries and points of interest is perfect. This is our second visit to this home and I would do it again if I ever revisited Gettysburg.

Comfortable, clean and close to everything!

We were very pleasantly surprised that the house was even nicer in person than on the listing! We walked to everything, enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and enjoyed catching up in the cozy living room. Great house, will definitely book again!!

Comfy, clean and close to everything

This is my second stay at this property. Unfortunately, I got sick for a good part of my vacation. I am so glad we chose this home, as even though I was sick, I felt comfortable and warm. The owner is considerate and the property is easily accessible. Great place to spend your time in Gettysburg.
