"Everything was alright. We had 2 cockroaches in our room, spiders and mosquitos, mainly due to the bathroom not being fully enclosed. The bathroom wall was also made of glass which let in a lot of street noise and lacked privacy. The beds were alright. "

The problem with reviews is that people tend to forget where they are and that they are on holidays. If you want alll the luxuries of home don’t go on holidays then. "I stayed in the Bamboo section for 3 nights which is next door to the Bungalows section. The Bamboo rooms are cheaper with rooms being basic - but this is how they are advertised. Like much accommodation in this part of Gili T, the call to prayer from the Mosque is quite loud and starts early (for my stay 4:40am). In the area there are plenty of places to eat, a nearby laundry, the beach is about a 5 min walk away. The front porch was lovely in the morning having the included breakfast...

"Plus- Nice big pool in villa. Very spacious rooms. Free bikes provided. Friendly staff. Negative- the rooms need some maintenance, crumbling walls in some spots. It is located in the middle of the island, so anytime you want to do something you have to ride back to beach (about 10 mins), which this isn’t a massive deal, it does get annoying in the heat. The place was so empty we were the only people there which was weird."
