The listing did not say the neighbouring house had two dogs (although very lovely and friendly) which were often in the garden and we had to remove their mess a few times which wasn’t very nice. The wifi did not work throughout the house - only in the living room. We also had a problem with a bat in the attic...

"As described in the other reviews, well equipped and a good size house. The free range eggs being collected daily was a good bonus. Good size lake on site for fishing. Pool was good and so was the hot tub. Not a bad location, exactly what we were looking for deep in the French countryside. Philippe was very helpful, spoke good English, seen to the pool every few days and was there for any questions at their other property a few hundred metres away without being invasive at all. The only downside...

"A great property,very comfortable,needs a little TLC. Very well equiped kitchen,a great fridge,we had lovely evenings in front of the fire with our after dinner aperitif. A very relaxing oasis ,we all had great sleeps. Convienient location for exploring the Bordeau area. Easy train connection to Bordeau city,and very close to a great supermarket in Montpon. "The property is just beautiful, in such a quiet area with we loved but only 5 mins from the local amenities. Has all the facilities we could have wanted and needed, even down to family games for the wetter days. Kids loved the pool and play area too! The stay was perfect for us all! "

"We loved our stay . The house is quaint but immaculate. The pool is superb. The whole stay was wonderful. The only negative is the fifth bedroom which has no partitioning wall between the living space and so a lot of noise carried through."

"Well done to Marion and her team. They have booked us Taxis, made us Pizzas, provided local information for buses, shops and restaurants, supplied extra towels and a hairdryer. The continental style breakfast is good value in price, and the facility is clean and well managed. Everyone has spoken English, been polite, friendly and professional. This may be called a Hotel Ibis “Budget”, but it has high standards and all the staff work hard. Room 307 is at end of the corridor. It is a good size with separate shower (fabulous) and toilet."
