"The room (in principle for two) is unusually small. The bathroom had no soap at the sink and cups/glasses (yes, one can get them after asking at the reception, but why should one need to ask?). My room was next to a service area where some kind of a machinery kept on operating all night long. Not too noisy, but audible and not good for light sleepers. Food and drink is fine, the hotel is 5 min walk from the tram station and also 15 min walk from the Darwin Eco area, which is good."

"Overall it was a good stay in a budget hotel. The most annoying aspect was the fire alarm going off multiple times and having to evacuate from the 6th floor due to smokers in their rooms. It was located near the train station which isn’t the most central neighborhood in Bordeaux, but it was easy enough to access the city center using transit. The cleaning staff was great and always left our room clean and fresh."

"The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking."
