Modern Farmhouse Cottage on 45 acres~Hot Tub, Fire Pit 🔥

Enjoy one level living in this updated and stylish cozy cottage. Have a cup of coffee on the porch in the rocking chairs with a mountain view 🏔️ or a hike on the trail in the woods past the creek. Relax and unwind in the hot tub 🛁
The home sits on a large field where you are sure to spot deer, turkey and other wildlife. The fire pit area is the perfect spot to watch the leaves change and corn grow 🌽
There are flat screen TVs in every room for streaming, 2 comfortable queen size beds and lots of seating area in the living room.

Each door on the porch opens to a separate bedroom, so getting in and out is convenient. Each door is equipped with its own smart lock for easy access, and for extra security (if you have little ones) an extra dead bolt that locks from the inside.

The cottage is best suited for small families, couples or those traveling for work.

The home has been completely renovated and remodeled in Spring 2023– so everything is brand new.

This is a duplex unit but is still very private! Separate driveway, separate entrances, and you cannot see the front entrances from each unit. Bushes and trees line the front yard to add extra privacy between the two. There is a very kind and quiet couple living in the other apartment. The cottage is also sound proof.

NASCAR WEEKEND !
Wonderful house, property, and location! We traveled from Illinois with our sweet dog Belle, (she loved the tall grass way out back for her privacy) for our first time at MARTINSVILLE Raceway Sunday race and it was perfect. Will definitely book here again, and always recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway !

Cottage with a view
Cottage very clean and comfortable! Great location with views of mountains and close proximity to site seeing of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachia Trail. Very nice state park at Smith Lake and would recommend to see. Host would respond quickly to any questions we had while at cottage and made our stay very enjoyable. Will definitely book cottage again to our next trip back to the area!!

Relaxing country stay
The house was adorable with a great quiet country location. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is included. Shopping is just a short drive away. It was the perfect location for traveling between Rocky Mount and the lake. Taylor quickly responded to any questions we had and was a terrific host. We highly enjoyed our short weekend stay! Everything was super clean and very well stocked. The couch and beds were comfortable. The view was stunning. It rained the whole time we were there, and we didn’t get to enjoy the outside amenities but they looked very inviting. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in the area again! My oldest son and I met my VT college freshman here for the weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a quiet get away. We spent several hours catching up by the outdoor fire pit. We were able to fix most of our meals right there as the kitchen was very well stocked. Great for a quiet reprieve.

This place is in a perfect location, very easy to get around. This place is great, very clean and has everything you need. The property manager was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. A very tidy and lovely Vbro house equipped with everything you need. A great two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. We had a great time at place. Totally recommend it.

Really cozy, comfy getaway!
This was an adorable place that was great for privacy and my dog loved the fields in the back! Modern touches everywhere and the Host is really a Premier Host with great communication! Internet was strong, the neighborhood was quiet, it was a very enjoyable stay over several days. Easy to find with quiet neighbors. And deer to see in the fields from the evening firepit! Highly recommended ;)

One of a Kind
Gorgeous and clean two bedroom home. Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed and more. Plenty spices, bakeware and appliances. Very well stocked and maintained home had extra blankets and towels for our extended stay. Property is quiet and well kept. Will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to the area.

Adorable and very clean with an abundance of towels and blankets
We've stayed at many VRBOs and this adorable cottage ranks very high on our list! It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed and we really appreciated all of the extra towels and cozy blankets. The hot tub and fire pit were fun evening activities, and the smart tvs came loaded with many of our favorite programs. The appliances were brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an electric tea kettle. The backyard view was fantastic, and we also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the comfy rocking chairs. Our two dogs were very comfortable as well. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, clean, great service
This place was a dream!! Beautiful backyard perfect for enjoying the gorgeous Virginia weather. Everything was spotless and it was well decorated. The couch and beds were extremely comfortable. No exhaustive check-in-out policies. The host was quick to respond to questions and very friendly. Our only issue was that one of the beds squeaked quite a lot so I don’t recommend the black bed to any light sleepers! All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come again.
