Our hosts were brilliant and when there was a brief region wide power cut they were straight to us to ensure we had everything we needed. "We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "What can I say about the most amazing property to stay at new year. Catered for everything, even had a Xmas tree. Had fizzy wine, butter, biscuits, bread, jams. Even had a tour by the owner to where to sit on New Year’s Eve on the hillside over looking western. Shame it was only 2 days. "

The spa and leisure facilities were great and the gym very well equipped. We didn’t eat in the bistro as it shuts early on a Monday but went to a lovely nearby pub.
