"Port Huon Cottages are just lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very nice and accommodating. The only thing that was a downside was the road noise at night. Nothing can be done about that but took a night to get used to. Definitely would stay there again if I’m in the area again. "

We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...
