Glen Ellen Retreat #1 Hot Tub and King Beds

Private Wine Country home in the heart of Glen Ellen. Walking distance to restaurants, tasting rooms, and markets. We also have beautiful state parks, Jack London State Park is 5 minutes away and lovely to hike. You will definitely fall in love with this small quaint town hidden away in Sonoma Valley. Included is wi-fi, TV, coffee, and tea. Looking forward to your stay.

Keyless entry makes it simple and easy. The living room is spacious with an electric leather reclining sofa, electric reclining chair, and a 50" flat screen TV with Netflix included. Decorated in a wine country-like theme. The house is very open and inviting. Each bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The guest bath has a tub/shower. The kitchen is big and spacious, it has a kitchen table and chairs for dining, and all of the necessary appliances for a great stay. You can also grill dinner on the back patio to enjoy the beautiful weather of Glen Ellen.

Parks and Trails-
-Jack London State Park is a few minutes up the road
-Sugarloaf State Park
-Annadel State Park
You can also take a walk through the Sonoma Valley Regional Park.

Getting around in Glen Ellen, a car is preferred but we also have Uber. Kenwood is 5 minutes away, Sonoma is about 10 minutes, Napa is about 40 minutes, SF is about an hour, if you want to go to the Ocean, Bodega Bay is only about an hour away, and it's also where Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" was filmed. Wonderful escape!
Met up with long time girlfriends and had the best stay. Walked to dinner at Glen Ellen Star after wine tasting at Laurel Glen Winery. Enjoyed the hot tub after dinner. Walked to the best bakery for breakfast as Les Pascales. It was great that there was even coffee for the morning. The beds were so comfy. We were so relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend.

Perfect for 4.
We loved the house, the spa and the area. It was a good central location to the wineries we wanted to visit. It was also a quick 1 hour drive to the Pacific coast which is well worth the trip for the day off from wine tasting. This is a great house…don’t pass it up if you think it will fit you needs.

Very nice property. Had two couple staying and there was plenty of room and having two baths made getting ready for going out a breeze. Having the hot tub to relax in after a long day out was a huge plus as well!

My 60th birthday
This property was an amazing find! I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Sonoma wine tasting. This property in the adorable town of Glen Ellen had multiple wine tastings within a 2-5 minute walk as well as an easy drive to Sonoma and other nearby areas for wine tastings. The home was impeccably clean. Great yard with hot tub! Thank you for helping my 60th so happy!

Complete comfort in a perfect setting
I spent a considerable amount of time researching locations and properties after visiting Sonoma and Carneros years ago. I landed on Glen Ellen as the less accessible local gem that’s the kind of place you wish you found but didn’t. We picked this bungalow not for its art and modern finishes, but because it was perfectly located, looked welcoming, and really comfortable. Comfortable was spot on. After long days exploring nature and wineries throughout the region, we enjoyed the hot tub, catching up on tv on the recliner/sofa, and the super comfortable beds. Our host was communicative and helpful. We asked if we could drop bags before check in (we ultimately didn’t need to do that), and she was amenable. Absolutely would return for quality of location and comfort.

Great property and location
This is an immaculate property with plenty of room and amenities. The host is great to work with and was available for any questions that i had. Both bedrooms have beautiful king beds and both bathrooms are clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Grill came in handy too. The location is great near tasting rooms in Glen Ellen (wine snob* is directly accross the street) plus short drive to Sonoma - south and Kenwood - north. Highly recommend. The only thing we were not able to take advantage of was the hot tub. Even though it looked really enticing...at 101 degrees one day of our stay it was just too hot! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location for Wine Region Getaway
Clean quiet and well stocked home, with two bedrooms both with king sized beds! Great location to get to wineries in both Napa and Sonoma. Walkable to several restaurants (highly recommend the Fig Cafe and Les Pascals Patisserie et Boulangerie) and to the grocery store (Glen Ellen Village Market). The gas grill is a nice plus as we cooked dinner in one night while enjoying a bottle of wine purchased at one of the wineries we visited. All around exceptional!

Nostalgic adventure
This was the ideal location to plant ourselves in order to revisit all the special places we once knew. I was able to show my son (and his lovely wife) where he was born and what we did the first few years of his life. Centrally located in Glen Ellen, we had easy access to all of the restaurants, shops, tasting rooms in Sonoma, Kenwood, the Valley of the Moon. Walking out for breakfast was perfect! Also, the hot tub was much appreciated by the young couple. Thank you, Leann, for an amazing trip down memory lane.
