Bad experience
I’ve used this service for years with glowing reviews for the properties and customer service from the host. When entering this property with my family we smelt an overwhelming smell. We tried several methods to reach our host and our issue was not fixed. It took over two weeks for a response to the issue with no resolve. I got .. it is what it is. The smell my husband discovered was creasolt coming from the stove that the last guest or cleaning crew left the damper open. The stove clearly had not been properly maintained as their chimney. The smell took over their property and there is no way the cleaning crew that was there prior to our arrival dis not smell this. We had to spend our entire first day/night ourselves due to the lack of accountability from our service eliminating the smell. It was so strong that we had headaches and looked for a hotel stay but everything was booked. We fixed the issue after closing the damper and airing out and properly cleaning the property. BUT this was not our responsibility as we paid for a clean rental. Our host and our their service they use should have came to clean and assess the issue while we left to enjoy our vacation. Beware… . Dated, and your on your own if you have a issue.
