"My room was too small bit cold. Room was spotless,but no toaster in room only a box of cereal no bowl. Cleaners were wonderful and all staff very friendly and helpful.meals were superb. My stay was wonderful ill be back."

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! Cally’s local suggestions enhanced our day trip to Mount Field NP and the Gordon Dam. I only wish we could have stayed longer to take better advantage of the many hidden treasures along the route. Our weekend was topped off by an impromptu tour of Rathmore House, a true beauty of a homestead and, despite the age, very much alive. Cally and Richard clearly love their home and sharing that joy with visitors."
