"Overall we had a pretty good trip I appreciated that the kitchen had plenty of supplies for cooking, there was lots of space for kids and adults to separate when needed and the hot tub was a nice amenity. It’s a quirky cabin that’s good for people who don’t need a lot of fuss! I would say the rental feels a little cluttered with toiletries and food left behind from previous guests, we did find some mouse droppings in some of the bottom drawers in the kitchen (kinda just comes with the territory)...

"What a great stay we had at Ponderosa Lodge this past weekend! The cabin was super clean, had everything you could need for a weekend stay. The bed was comfortable! "The place was clean and quaint, our stay here was comfortable and communication with the management was good. The alley access was a little unexpected, I may have missed it in the description but we managed and still enjoyed our stay. We stayed in September and glad there were fans which kept it comfortable for us could be a concern in the hotter months. Overall was a good experience and if we come back to Carbondale would consider this cute cabin again!"

"Our stay was very nice! We are a group of childhood friends ranging in age from 68 to 70. It rained but it didn’t matter because we just wanted to visit. Very spacious. We played games put puzzles together, ate and visited. Perfect! I will say that one of the arm chairs in the dining room needs some glue and the upstairs toilet needs some help"

"The apartment was very clean and exactly as described. We liked very much the mountains view from the windows and balconies. The games room was great for the kids (and for us). "This was a cute little property in a fantastic location- so close to everything! Although i understand that this is an old house and part of its charm, there are some structural things going on with the sloping and rickety flooring in the master bathroom. In addition, tiles are crumbling from the shower area with visible mold- so there are some sanitary concerns.
