"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

"The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! "We had a really lovely weekend at the Old Rectory. Large room, quiet and warm. Breakfast was excellent. All the staff were really nice. A mix up with the booking was dealt with very efficiently by the person on the desk (Natalie, I think). She sorted everything out and we were made to feel very welcome. Easy walk into the town, which has an Indian restaurant, other takeaways and a few pubs with food and beer. "
