4.0 star property

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"My partner and I had a lovely week at this stunning cottage. Extremely peaceful, well equipped and clean. Martha and Charlie the dog greeted us upon arrival with a lovely welcome, chocs and wine. Although the cottage is on their farm yard property we didn’t know they were there at all!! We had three beautiful lamas at the end of the garden that our dog Pippa loved to watch as did we 😁.the views of the mountains and the sea are stunning. "We had a wonderful week at River Aeron Retreat. The property is extremely well equipped, comfortable and in a lovely location. The terrace is an added bonus and a lovely place to sit and listen to the river flowing by and to bird watch. Aberaeron is a very pretty town with an interesting heritage. It’s conveniently located to visit other places such as New Quay, Aberystwyth, Cardigan. All communications with Rhian and Alan were excellent with very prompt responses. Ceridwen Glamping, Double decker Bus and Yurts
2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (2)
"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

Off The Grid Experience, Close To Nature, A Great Getaway, with great views
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (13)
"Was so looking forward to this off grid holiday. However left within twenty minutes just long enough to find and book a hotel. The cabin was filthy and stank to high heaven. I pulled back the throws to check the bed to discover filthy , clearly unchanged bedsheets which were urine stained. The roof clearly leaks in places and we saw two huge rats scurrying about in broad daylight. The "kitchen" consists of a filthy bowl and bucket half filled with rancid water, cooking is a one ring gas stove. A...

A spacious yet cosy eco converted dairy barn, situated within a vineyard.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (23)
"Clearly eco with attractive finishes. Set in a highly rural location. Car width roads give access to the cottage; lots of passing places make it reassuring and a true adventure! Gardens have a Jurassic appeal whilst also hiding a fun play area - shame that the trampoline was not in action though. Overall lovely. "

Inviting 2-bed Cottage in Newcastle Emlyn
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (14)
"Myself, my 11 year old and our young dog spent our October half term on the farm and had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they respected our privacy and didn't mind that our dog was a bit excited by all the farm animals (all of whom had loads of character!) The night sky was beautiful although we only got one clear night to have a quick look at the stars - I'm sure it's absolutely breathtaking in the summer! The cottage was very clean and well...

"This hotel was a real find. A lovely stay and was a real lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day out. The rooms were very well appointed modern, clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If I had to be really picky I would have liked a wider range of food available for breakfast as in a selection of bread not just brown or white sliced, and freshly prepared fresh fruit. Alternatives for people who do not appreciate English Breakfast at that early time in the morning....
