"We throughly enjoyed staying here. Derek and Bea were exceptional in their attention to their guests - nothing was too much trouble. A week is enough in our view as there is not a huge amount happening locally although trips to Bayonne, Biarritz and the Pyrenees are a good option. St Sever is a nice little town close by. "We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and unusual house. It was lovely to sit and look at the horses and cattle in the grounds and the bird life was excellent. We could have done with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, such as a chopping board, but most things were there. The hosts were very friendly."

"The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help. Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. The aircon was in the living room and not the large bedroom where it was needed. Good size balcony and kitchen had great facilties. TV didnt work much...
