"My girl and I very much enjoyed our Valentine's day weekend at Tides and will definitely stay here again. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. We did have a miss on our room being cleaned one day, but this was quickly corrected by the service manager. The location is perfect with about a dozen restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Parking is free, convenient and secure. The beach here is very nice; clean, very dog friendly, and with sand hard packed enough for long walks or bicycling. The Pier next door is really great (free to walk out and on). The 'Pier 101' grill has the best Calamari you'll find on the East coast. "

"Planters Inn is an older - quaint hotel. Our room was clean and the bathroom is updated. The restaurant, Peninsula Grill was good. The location to King Street and the market is perfect. We asked for a later check-out, which couldn’t be accommodated, but they were helpful by storing our luggage as our flight was 7 hours after check-out time. Would stay again. "

"This hotel was the previous citadel. We visited during December and the park next door was lit up each evening and during the day had a couple events. King street is behind the hotel, just a diagonal walk across the park. We took uber to the market, carriage ride starting point, and the waterfront. Cheap ubers, and centrally located without breaking the bank! I'd stay here again. "
