"I recently stayed at this beautiful coastal home in Maine with a group of seven women, and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the home’s warm, welcoming atmosphere and stunning ocean views.The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every room was clean and most had amazing sea views, and there was more than enough space for all seven of us to relax without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to cook meals together and enjoy long, laughter-filled dinners around the table. The star of the show was the outdoor space with many seating areas with beautiful furniture, a huge shade umbrella and a fire pit all overlooking the glorious view.The location was ideal—peaceful and private, yet close enough to enjoy local shops, restaurants, and coastal walks. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the deck with the sea breeze in our hair, and our evenings with cocktails enjoying the gorgeous ocean view.Our host was gracious and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.This trip was everything we hoped it would be and more—a perfect mix of relaxation, connection, and coastal charm. You will not be disappointed in this gem!"
"We enjoyed our stay at The Colony very much. We were in the newly renovated building, and it is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The common area is beautiful too. I think adding some vending machines would make things a little more convenient. (We arrived late, and cold have used a snack). "

"My daughter and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Carly's Cottage! The space was perfect and so well appointed. We had great communication with Tracy; check-in was clear and we especially enjoyed the Welcome basket upon arrival and recommendations for the activities in the area. Everything you need is available. We were able to make meals, had local lobster which was so good and bike to the beach every day-it was only a mile or so away. The bike's at the cottage were an added bonus. There are beach chairs, a pool on site along with bocce and a playground for children. We were so relaxed and had such a great stay; I highly recommend visiting this wonderful place! We will be back! Marianne"

"The setting is spectacular!! The owner has provided kayaks, life vests, to fully take advantage. The home is charming. It was immaculate when we arrived. Prior to arrival the owner was super responsive to my questions. The only real issue is that while there is AC splits downstairs, there were none for the entire upstairs where it was so hot and humid at night that some couldn’t sleep on the beds they had made up upstairs. "
"Exceptionnel cabins, great restaurant, quiet comfortable luxury. Was disappointed by the very high amour of packaging with their food served in plastic containers if you eat by the pool and for all in room dining meals, which is truly excessive and sad to see. I also wish there was a more attractive spa services with steam bath, hot and cold plunge. "

"Easy check in, great location. Very quiet property while we were there, very relaxing. Unit was clean and comfortable. For future renters, note that you bring your own linens - this was a first for us. Towel inventory is very limited but worked out for the two of us. Front door deadbolt is in need of WD-40, just FYI for owner. Thoroughly enjoyed the indoor hot tub after long days of touring. Very close to the beautiful Goose Rocks Beach and Kennebunkport. Would stay here again. Property owner was very quick to respond and very courteous! Thank you for such a nice stay!!!"
