"Hotel had a free airport shuttle but we had to call because we were at terminal 2. Hotel is in an industrial area so no restaurants or things to see nearby. There was an on site restaurant and bar. The breakfast buffet was extensive which I would recommend. There was a landscaped walking area behind the hotel. In the morning there were cabs waiting to take us to cruise port."

"Just an excellent experience. Clean, firm bed, very good shower, attentive staff. 4 mins walk to Las Ramblas, 5 mins to the Gothic Cathedral, 5 mins walk to two different Metro lines. Highly recommended "

"The Portal de l'Angel is a lovely hotel. It is an older but quaint hotel with a lot of charm. We stayed here twice, before and after our cruise and were very pleased. It is right on a walking street with Lots and lots of stores and restaurants. Very central and the airport bus dropped us off about a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Our room was booked with a little standing room only balcony which you could watch the pedestrians pass below. The room was very comfortable with nice facilities. We would highly recommend this hotel. "
