Excellent lication and facilities. Food could have been a bit better, specially breakfast. Considering that the farm is located in the middle of a cheese region it was a let down that they served a simple supermarket sliced cheese for breakfast. Otherwise our stay was superb.

Wonderful, eco friendly farm with horses, sheep, dogs (including rescue project) and two house cats. Staff is wonderful and food is excellent - prepared for you specially from advance selection to avoid waste! Can’t say enough good about the whole project!!

Fabulous hotel in a stunning location. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were so friendly, helpful and did everything to make our stay even more enjoyable. The location is stunning and a great base to explore the Sera Estrela National Park. Their own wines from the vineyard are also excellent. As is the homemade ice cream!!

Wonderful, classy, and very relaxing!
Everything about this hotel is top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's in a lovely rural setting that immediately makes you sigh a huge, "Ahhhhhhh". The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The staff was friendly, gracious and professional. All the food was delicious, we were blown away by their homemade cheeses!

Excellent Hotel and surroundings.
My family is from this location and never knew that this hotel was around. We stayed here for three nights and had an excellent experience. The staff, rooms, dining and all of its surroundings were excellent. The hotel has only been open since 2012 but seems that it has been open longer. We will definitely come back. Have to make one special comment about the staff, they were all very professional and very helpful! Thank you!!!

The hotel was fantastic. The meals in the gormet resturant were fantastic. Dinner was reasonably priced. The included breakfast was amazing. All food was locally grown & fresh. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay there! Loved our morning walk around the vineyards & farm. Can not recommend highly enough. If you are going nearby do yourself a favor and stay here for a truly unique experience!

Delightfully rural.
The hotel is in the middle of it's own vineyard which makes a spectacular backdrop to the excellent facilities. The staff were so helpful and friendly, it really added to the excellent overall impression left by the hotel. The hotel has an exceptional restaurant serving their home grown produce and wine. We will return!

Hidden Gem in Gouveia
This is a gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous setting. I can't say enough about how lovely this hotel is. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is marvelous. They serve many of their own products (olive oil, cheese, wine). This place is an abosulte hidden gem.
