Great location & plenty of room for everyone, but needs deep cleaned badly
We loved the size of the home and location. Quick easy walk into “town” for bars, restaurants & groceries. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately the home was very dirty. The floors didn’t seem to be vacuumed, there was cereal and crumbs on the floor in bedrooms, living room & dining room, garbage under the beds, hair on the shower walls, and on the bottom of shower, and garbage in garbage cans when we arrived. When we left and went to throw the garbage out in the outside trash can, it was full, so we opened the garage to put the bags in there, (as instructed in the check-out directions) and there’s a huge pile of garbage bags in there from prior guests it seems. The home is in desperate need of a deep clean. It’s also advertised that there’s AC but there’s only one AC unit in the home, in one bedroom on the top floor. Luckily it was cooler at night so we could open up the windows to cool the home down a little. None of the guests in our party would stay here again…

I wasn’t happy about not bring able to use the Fireplace, the main floor was cold most of the time, it wasn’t clear about where to put the garbage, the host never reached out to me when I sent an email. But I did really like the bed arrangements.

Great spot for a group
We came up with a group of friends for a long weekend; this was a perfect spot. Really close to town, which gave people a lot of flexibility to go out if they wanted. The kitchen and living space was perfect for cooking and hanging out as well. Great spot!!

Fun in the snow
The Altitude Chalet was perfect for our needs , & I can’t think of a single thing that Wasn’t provided. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, for cooking real, large, family meals . The lash out of bedrooms & Bathrooms provides privacy for couples , & the kids loved the bunk beds downstairs. Jeff & Brenda were so fast at getting back to us on the few questions we had . GC over Christmas was absolutely MAGICAL . It reminds one of those sentimental old snowy village paintings. Thanks for all you did to accommodate our group & HAPPY NEW YEAR !

awesome accommodation !
It’s a very neat and clean house , well equipped , we have almost everything that we needed . It just happens that the temperature is a little in the humid side in those days that we stayed and the house doesn’t have any AC unit , so it’s a little hot and stuffy . Overall we had a fun and pleasant stay . Really appreciate the property manager attending to our needs .

Good Times!
Had a lot of fun with friends celebrating a couple birthdays! The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to hang out for the weekend. Also, the owner called me to troubleshoot some tech stuff because that is clearly not my forte! I could tell that he really cared that his guests have a great stay!

Wonderful Home!
I and some friends stayed the weekend at this home. It was fabulous. The owner, Jeff, is very thorough and gives a lot of detailed directions that were extremely helpful. He is always available by phone and/or text which I really appreciated. The home is exactly as it is described in VRBO. Many times I have rented a home and found that the information given is not accurate and that is so disappointing. This home is very clean and is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is completely equipped with every utensil, plate, appliance, etc. that you would ever need. That was awesome!! Thank you Jeff and Brenda....for being amazing super hosts. We loved our time at your wonderful home and highly recommend it as a place to get away to.

Excellent Family Getaway
Our entire family had a great time at Alltitude Chalet. Six adults. Kids ages 2, 4, 5, 8. Plenty of room for everyone. Great location. Walking distance to Government Camp stores and restaurants. Sledding on the property right outside the house entertained the kids for two days. Third day there was new snow and they sled down a bigger slope near the top of the street. Perfect vacation during Covid. Isolation but plenty of fun. When Covid isolation is over, we’ll visit again and be very close to skiing and snow boarding.

The perfect mountain get away!
This home was the real deal. It was beautiful inside and out. The location was perfect and provided all kinds of fun opportunities within walking distance. We are not necessarily mountain people but wanted to get away and enjoy some snow with the family. It couldn't have worked out any better. Jeff and Brenda were so nice and accommodating. The home was very clean and very well stocked with everything needed from garbage bags to fire wood to extra batteries. Truly felt like home. Thank you again for the wonderful memory!

This house is great. The mattresses are some of the most comfortable I’ve had at a VRBO. This house is very well stocked with everything you need. Don’t let the closeness to the highway steer you away, you can’t hear it.

Perfect place for a large group
Jeff and Brenda are incredible hosts. The place is unusually well stocked with everything from spices to cleaning supplies. I really appreciate that when staying for a week. Every room is comfortable and the house could hold a very large group comfortably. It's also an ideal location. Right in the center of government camp and <10 minutes to Timberline for hiking, skiing, or summer race training. This is one of the best experiences I've had renting a vacation home for a week from reservation to checkout.

Great stay for Hood Ski Camp
Check in process and communication with the owners was great. Jeff called right away when I booked the property. We had a bit of trouble w wifi and he worked hard to get it fixed. Answered all my questions promptly and took care of any issues. This is a nice big house. We had 10 people in it at one point. It’s right in town so you can walk everywhere. The house is extremely comfortable w plenty of space to spread out. Upstairs bedrooms are really nice, and basement bunk perfect for kids. The kitchen and eating space is large enough to cook for and feed a large crowd. There’s a bonus tuning room in the basement too. Only complaint is the house is near the busy highway, but if you close the windows at night you don’t hear it. Other than that, a great place to stay w kids skiing in summer camps. The hiking around Mt. Hood is amazing!
