"Nice and above what we were expecting. Hotel is operated by movinpik. Room was specious and clean. Vgood level of hospitality. 5 min walk to active areas and very recommended. Staff welcomed us with dessert for our anniversary celebration. "

"The staff were very very nice and helpful from the front office staff to the staff at the breakfast restaurant . The hotel is well appointed , room was very spacious , bed was comfortable , heated floors . The hotel is a sight to behold and a great one to stay in . Would be back in a heart beat . The breakfast was always sumptuous and had great variety ."

"Beautiful property with large, gorgeous rooms and incredibly friendly staff. The location is great and very close to the Bulvar. Lots of restaurant options once you get to Bulvar also, and easy transportation via taxi or limousine. I would recommend views to the old city (Icherisheher), as the sea view rooms also face a busy street in the front. From the back, you can see the ancient city, it's quiet, and you have a great view of the Flame Towers. I would try to go to Baku when they're not...

"With one exception the staff spoke no language other than Azerbaijani. I mean none. Not hello or yes or anything. It made ordering dinner a challenge... but the food was great once you managed."

"The staff is more interested in my personal religion and nationality that providing services. They only need to focus on my payment and identity verification. They should limit themselves and should not cross the limit. I will tell as many people as I can that don’t go to Azerbaijan, a poor country and disrespectful people. Thanks"

"Hotel located right in the central city, walkable distance to everything shopping dining, 5-10 min walk to Old city. We stayed in October and the AC wasn't working, per hotel staff they switched to a winter mode and 23.5 C is the lowest temperature you can set, so be ready to sweat while you are in the room. Our shower was missing a Glass door, so every time you use it, our bathroom would turn into a pool area, be ready to wipe the floors every time you use a shower. Keep in mind that the...

"I enjoyed my stay here. It is walkable to Heydar Aliyev Centre and there are many public transportation options. The breakfast was good and they also offer a buffet lunch for a small price. There are a few doner places nearby and a mini mart for small snacks. The only downside was that the walls are rather thin so you can hear the loud conversations from the the next room over and doors slamming throughout the night. The staff and service was good, I would stay here again."

Parkside Hotel in Baku

"We stayed for 4 nights at Parkside Hotel in Baku. The front desk people & housekeeping were welcoming, friendly and eager to help. Breakfast consisted of a big spread of western and eastern food choices. The hotel is close to a metro station. It's within walking distance to small stores but not to restaurants. The room we chose was huge and had 2 tv sets, and a kitchenette with a tiny refrigerator, microwave, electric carafe, stove & china. I liked their kitchenette as it allowed us to make our own coffee and tea anytime. It also had elevators. The tour we were in chose this hotel for us. "
